ELE ist da

ELE ist eine Live-CD ähnlich der Knoppix. Der Fokus dieser CD liegt auf Software, die zum Schutz der Privatsphäre da ist. Die erste Ausgabe basiert auf Damn Small Linux und ist 65 MB groß. Auf der CD ist der Windowmanager fluxbox enthalten. Neben den normalen Linuxwerkzeugen gibt es BitchX, Gaim, Firefox, SSH, VNCviewer und Xpdf. Alle Webanwendungen außer SSH und VNCviewer werden durch Tor geleitet. Die Webseiten, die Firefox anzeigt, werden vorher durch Privoxy “bereinigt” und die Googlesuche wurde durch Scroogle ersetzt.
