X.Org in unstable

In Nicos Blog las ich gerade, dass X.org endlich in unstable gelandet ist. David Nusinow hat das Paket hochgeladen. Ich habe X.org schon eine Zeit lang auf Gentoo in Betrieb und konnte bisher keine Probleme feststellen. Beim nächsten Update werde ich dann auch das Debiansystem umstellen.

Die Umstellung funktioniert &uuml;brigens wirklich fein. Die Jungs haben tolle Arbeit geleistet, auch der Umstieg von den Ubuntu-Xorg-Paketen (auf einem Debian-System) auf Debian-only funktioniert ziemlich stressfrei (Daniel Stone hat ja mitgewerkelt ;-)). HTH &amp;&amp; JFYI

Daniel Stone kenne ich zwar nicht. Jedoch ist er wohl zu der umfassenden Erkenntnis gekommen: “Studies have shown that grilled cheese on toast is 97% better than libtool.”

JFYI: Daniel hat die X.org-Pakete bei Ubuntu gemacht und betreut sie nach wie vor. Er ist wie auch z.B. David Nusinow und Branden Robinson in der “X Strike Force” von Debian aktiv und werkelt dementsprechend bei den Xorg-Paketen bei Debian mit.
