schnelle Schnecken

Mit RfC 2549 hat alles angefangen. Hier wurde “spezifiziert”, wie IP mit Vögeln funktioniert. Natürlich ist das nichts ohne eine Implementation. So starteten ein paar Israelis den Versuch, ein Internet mit Tauben aufzubauen. Dies funktionierte wohl ganz gut. Doch offensichtlich nicht gut genug. Wie Slashdot heute berichtet, gibt es einen neuen schneckbasierten Versuch. Damit waren die “Forscher” wesentlich schneller als es DSL derzeit ist. Eine Zukunftstechnologie?
