Autokorrektur kann manchmal zur Qual werden. Mittlerweile gibt es Seiten, die sich der diversen Fails annehmen. Bei BuzzFeed gibt es nun die lustigsten 25 Autokorrekturen des Jahres 2012. Seit vorgewarnt und lest das nur, wenn ihr nicht gerade in der Öffentlichkeit umherwandert. Es hat bei diversen Leuten zu Lachflashs geführt.

Illuminati rückwärts

Bei Twitter macht gerade wieder ein kleiner Witz die Runde:

Man tippe “Illuminati” rückwärts in die URL-Zeile des Browsers ein, füge ein .com hinzu und staune.

In der Tat ist das Staunen groß, wenn sich die Webseite der NSA öffnet. Der eine oder andere verortet den Geheimdienst in der Illuminatenecke. Doch warum öffnet sich gerade diese Seite? Gibt die NSA damit zu, selbst zu den Illuminati zu gehören?

Eine kleine Recherche ergibt, dass sich jemand einen Scherz erlaubt hat. Die Whois-Abfrage ergibt eine Privatperson aus Provo in Utah. Eine DNS-Abfrage zeigt, dass der Server gerade nicht in der Nähe von Fort Meade steht. Also mal eine HTTP-Anfrage eingetippert:

Also hat sich wohl eine Privatperson einen Scherz erlaubt. In der Tat ergibt ein wenig Suchen einen Blogbeitrag. Dort wird bestätigt, dass es ein kleiner Gag ist.

Der Februar brachte wieder einige interessante Google-Anfragen. Zunächst war ich sehr erstaunt, dass man mit the answer to life the universe and everything hier landen kann. Dabei kennt bereits Google die Antwort. Ein Nutzer fragte sich: wie soll ich meinen eltern beichten dass ich vom gymnasium auf eine berufsschule wechseln will. Hier kann man nur raten, offensiv das Gespräch zu suchen. Derjenige wird sicher seine Gründe haben und die Eltern sollten das verstehen. Die recht interessante Frage wieviel sekunden überlebt man am starkstrom möchte ich lieber nicht selbst ausprobieren. Dagegen ist wie tut man quellcodes kommentieren recht einfach. Der Anfänger versucht sich in einer Programmiersprache wie Whitespace. Dort ist jedes druckbare Zeichen ein Kommentar. Perfekt für den Einsteiger! Der Sinn hinter der Anfrage Ich muss dich gehen lassen tex bzw. Commodare C64 spiele wie die wan bitte sagen sie mir eine erklärung muss sich mir erst noch erschließen.

Hast du dir schon einmal einen Film bei einer Tauschbörse heruntergeladen? Wie war der Unterschied zu einer gekauften DVD? Die Grafik unten veranschaulicht den Unterschied sehr deutlich.

Ich begab mich heute morgen auf die Suche nach der Internetadresse des LKA Thüringen. Google weiß ja immer alles besser und schlug mir vor besser das BKA Thüringen zu suchen:

Ein Klick auf den Link brachte mir allerdings auch wieder nur die Homepage des LKA. Dabei dachte ich, ich hätte den geheimen Stützpunkt enttarnt und die Weltverschwörung aufgedeckt.

Durch den Remailer, den ich unter der Domain Anonymitaet-im-inter.net betreibe, habe ich hin und wieder Kontakt zu Polizeibehörden. In der Regel erfolgt die Kontaktaufnahme telefonisch und dem Gesprächspartner ist schnell klar, worum es hier geht. Vor kurzem erhielt ich nun eine Einladung zu einer Zeugenaussage. Nach dem unten stehenden Video von Udo Vetter weiß ich ja, dass man auch als Zeuge den Mund halten sollte. Nichtsdestotrotz rief ich bei der Polizei an. Auf die Frage nach dem Hintergrund meinte derjenige, dass ich IP-Adressen vermiete. Ich mache vieles, aber die Vermietung von IP-Adressen gehört definitiv nicht dazu. Aber, so erklärte mir mein Gegenüber, ich betreibe doch den Server anonymitaet-im-internet.de mit der IP-Adresse A.B.C.D und unter der vermiete ich IP-Adressen. Zunächst versuchte ich klar zu machen, dass die Top-Level-Domain nicht .de, sondern .net ist. Hierbei schien es sich um einen Übermittlungsfehler zu handeln. Schließlich erklärte ich noch, dass ich keine IP-Adressen vermiete, sondern lediglich Dritten erlaube, E-Mails über den Dienst Mixmaster zu versenden. Der Polizist hörte sich die Ausführungen an, aber ich hatte nicht das Gefühl, dass meine Erklärungen zum Verständnis beitrugen.

Das LaTeX-Tutorial auf den Seiten wird immer wieder gern angeklickt und ist ein häufiger Gegenstand der Suche bei Google. Jedoch sucht nicht jeder nach dem Wort Tutorial. Die Abweichungen sind enorm:
